Well,

this most definitely has been an interesting week.

This past Tuesday, I experience my very first college audition. I didn't audition, but I did turn in a application for tech. I have a feeling though I will not be put on the crew because the director mention that he may use his upperclassmen for his crew. And I understand why he would do that. Oh well. I only hope that I can help out with building and etc. Then I can get more experience as a technician. Getting back to the subject, the auditions were amazing. The people who tried out were really good. It was better than some of the auditions I have seen in the past, but then of course I have only seen high school auditions. I don't mean to sound rude. I apologize if it does.

Well, each person I saw on stage had grace and stage presents. A couple of them I knew were freshmen, and they were very good as well. The audition lasted til about 12:30ish in the morning from what Marcus told me. Marcus is one of the actors who tried out for the show, he is a really nice guy to talk to.

Anyway, I stayed and watched the auditions for about 4 hours and then I needed to get home. When I came back the next day, I found out that they were having callbacks, and I have been told that it was rare for ASU Theatre department to have callbacks.

It was an interesting experience and I am glad I went and watch it for a while. Maybe I'll get the guts and tried out for the next show. Oh well.

I'm still kinda curious how everybody did at the callbacks yesterday. I guess shall wait til the cast list goes up today.
